When you first try to use a Connect command, you may notice something similar to the following message: You must create an accountbefore you can use that command! This means you have not yet set up your Connect account. You can do this using the account create command.
The Account Create Command
When you use this command, the bot will immediately start the account creation process, unless you already are logged into an account, in which you will get a message saying so. There are six questions you will be asked in this process, most of which are skippable. These are the questions you will be asked:
Your Display Name
Your Account Bio
Your Connect Account Password
If you don't want to input your information, all steps are skippable except for your Connect account password and your username. See our FAQ on why you might want to put some of this information on your profile.
Adding this information helps people get to know you, almost like your short introduction.
How it works
When using the create command, you have some options on what information you'd like to put on your profile. Each of these are different steps, with different character limits. Instead of sending a new message when it's time to move on to the next step, the bot will delete your messages and edit the first embed. If it is unable to delete your messages, it will simply proceed to edit the original embed.
Please remember that if you unsuccessfully complete a step, you will have to start the creation process over again.
You can see info on these fields in the account edit command page.
